Italian Electrobeat and 80s-trash-pop group Batch Sound check in with the German retro-Electro label Ground Control. With 'The Chase Is On', the trio, formed by Chief Pink, MOK and Damokles, deliver a catchy Electrofunk gem with funky 808 drum programming, a driving bassline, vintage synth melodies, scratches and Vocoder raps. While being a fully original production, the song perfectly channels the vibe of 1980s Electro classics such as Unknown DJ's 'Beatronic', Harold Faltermeyer's 'Axel F' or the works of Hashim and The Egyptian Lover. Available in five DJ-friendly versions 'The Chase Is On' is now released on 12-inch vinyl (black and transparent yellow) as well as in digital formats.
